Some calls are silent or ask for unknown persons before ending abruptly. Users commonly advise informing Lloyds or your own bank about these suspicious calls.

I got a call from a woman who said my name right away, but the call dropped straight away cos my phone’s privacy settings kicked in. When I called back, some automated message said it was Lloyds Bank. Problem is, the area code didn’t match Lloyds’ usual numbers. I checked online and found loads of people reporting this sort of scam, often linked to India or Pakistan, where the caller is a polite female who seems to know way too much about you. Honestly, if you get this, make sure you tell your bank or Lloyds directly so they can do something about it.

Got a voicemail from some woman claiming to be from my local bank, said there was nothing to worry about and they’d ring back after the weekend. Pretty sure it wasn’t my bank at all.

No idea who it was, didn’t get a message or anything, so I’m guessing it was just one of those dodgy scam calls.

A lady called asking for someone I've never heard of, then quickly said sorry and ended the call.
