I got a call from 07899846653, some prerecorded message claiming it was Mastercard about a £900 purchase overseas. I just ended the call straight away and then called my bank to be sure. Turns out, my bank said it was a scam and I did the right thing by not engaging.

They said they were from some PPI credit thing, but right away started asking me for my bank details and other private info. I’ve got a feeling it’s just a dodgy scam trying to get hold of personal data. Wouldn’t trust it at all.
