This number has been ringing my landline a couple of times every day recently, usually around lunchtime and then again in the evening. I ended up pressing the 1 key, and the recorded message began with 44779 and sounded like an O2 text service. After the intro, there was silence. I also tried calling it back on my mobile, but it went straight to voicemail, so I left a message asking who they were and why they kept calling. Not long after, my house phone rang once more with the same silent message, but there was no caller ID showing. Hopefully this info is useful to someone.

Somebody rang saying they were from Amazon, but I wasn’t convinced. I asked why Amazon would be using a mobile number to call, and they quickly said it wasn’t a mobile before just hanging up on me. Quite dodgy if you ask me.
