Plus, the number showing up was a mobile, which made me even more doubtful. I said I was tied up with work, and she quickly told me to check the app for any perks. Still, doesn’t feel legit to me.

I got a call from a woman with an English accent saying she worked for NatWest and wanted to help me sort out my finances. She kept pushing for a Zoom call or a voice chat, saying I couldn't visit my local branch because they aren't doing face-to-face meetings anymore. She even tried to convince me she was actually in a branch during the call. So, I rang NatWest myself and they told me no one had tried to contact me about financial advice - they said it was definitely a scam.

I ignored the call but they went ahead and left a message saying they were "Karen" from "my bank." They asked me to ring back on 07999580709 but I couldn’t find any details about that number anywhere. I’ve reported it to Action Fraud just in case.
