So, no need to freak out or anything, it was just Claire from Natwest over in Darlington. She rang me about a financial review meeting I'd booked. If you’re still unsure, just pop down to the branch and have a chat with her - she’s genuinely part of the team!

This number popped up on my missed calls, so I called back and a woman called Claire answered, asking if I wanted to schedule an appointment (which I had already arranged with Natwest in person). I said yes at the time without giving it much thought. But tonight, I decided to look up the number and noticed a bunch of reviews mentioning odd stuff about her. When I checked my call log, turns out I've been called by this number over 7 times in the last year! Something definitely feels off about this.

Just had a call from this Claire person at Natwest, apparently she's there to help set up savings accounts and things like that. Sounds like they do this kind of check-in with all their customers once a year or something.

Got a call on my phone but I know for sure my bank doesn’t have my number. Honestly, NEVER share any bank info with anyone who rings you out of the blue.

Got a call from someone wanting to arrange a Zoom chat about mortgage stuff and cash-back offers. Seems like the usual scam move. Banks don’t ring you up to discuss those things, so just drop the call if you get this. If you’re unsure, just ring your bank using the number on their official site.

Somebody rang me saying they were from NatWest bank, asking if I could set up a Zoom call to share my details. I wasn't convinced and told them no, since I couldn't be sure they were actually from the bank. After that, they just ended the call. Definitely felt a bit dodgy.
