Got a call from an insurance firm. He started off with simple questions then went on about how I was overpaying and could save money with the same provider. He asked for my sort code and bank details to switch my direct debit there and then. I told him I wasn’t comfortable sharing bank info over the phone and had no plans to alter my life insurance. I could tell he wasn’t too pleased with my answer.

I only share this number with my son's school, close friends and family, so it's really strange that these callers have somehow got hold of it. They keep trying to sell life insurance but honestly, I’m quite happy with the policy I’m already on.
