Got a call from someone with a thick accent who said they were from Openreach, telling me there was something wrong with my internet connection. The weird thing was, this bloke actually knew my name, which I’ve never had happen with these dodgy calls before. Since we don’t even use Openreach, I told him there wasn’t any problem. He kept repeating that there was a fault, about three times in a row, then just ended the call after saying he’d disconnect us. Bit strange, honestly.
