Got a call from some bloke named Ben, sounded like he was from abroad and spoke with a thick accent. He kept telling me my BT broadband was hacked or something like that. The funny thing is, we don’t even have BT internet, so I knew something was fishy. When he started asking questions, I wasn’t really keen on playing along. I could tell it was a scam straight away. I was pretty short with him and soon as I stopped cooperating, he just hung up on me.
