I missed a call as I was tied up, and foolishly decided to call back. Next thing I know, there's a £110 charge on my bank statement listed as "activate on demand"! The number showed as a UK mobile too. Feeling proper annoyed at myself for that and the cheek of whoever it was!

Just realised that number wasn’t right! Got really embarrassed after the bank confirmed the transaction was legit and from our joint account. Sorry about the earlier comment, but I can’t seem to delete it!
