Some PPI guy kept ringing even after I said I wasn’t interested. He just wouldn’t take no for an answer. In the end, I had to hang up and block the number.

It’s only 3 in the afternoon and I’ve already had this number ring me 8 times today!

I’ve had loads of calls from different numbers, this one included, all saying they’re from British Gas or Electricity. They kept asking for my new address even though they already had my old one, saying it was some sort of “verification”. When I asked what exactly they were trying to verify and why they needed my personal info, they just ignored me. The guy said I owed them money, but that can’t be right because I’ve never had gas or electric from British Gas. Eventually, he just ended the call on me.

They kept calling me saying they're from British Gas and wanted to verify stuff. If you're a customer, they’d already know that, right? I told the woman who finally answered after loads of calls from different numbers to leave me alone. But they said they won’t stop until I answer a few questions. I’ve now blocked the number, but I reckon another one will pop up soon.

I got a couple of calls from this number and it was actually my gas company ringing. They said my last payment didn’t go through properly so I gave them my bank info to sort it out and make sure the gas stays on. They were really polite about it.
