Got a robo-call with a woman’s voice saying there was a £500 charge on my card from Amazon and eBay. Didn’t bother listening to the whole thing since it was clearly a scam. I’ve had these kinds of calls before. Plus, banks don’t ring you from a mobile number. My tip? If you’re unsure, just hang up and call your bank yourself using a number you already have. Don’t press any buttons they tell you to - you might get hit with expensive call fees or worse.
