My landline rang but I couldnt pick it up. They didnt leave any voicemail either. I decided to ring back soon after and when a woman answered, I told her I was calling back a missed call and asked for her name. She just cut me off straight away and ended the call. Pretty odd behaviour really.

Got a call from a woman’s robotic voice saying I was charged £900 on my Visa card (I don’t even own a Visa!). She told me to press 1 if I hadn’t made the purchase. As soon as I did, the line went dead. Looked up the number with 1471 and then found this site to see if others had the same.

I got a call from someone saying they were from Visa, telling me that £900 had been charged to my Visa card. They said if I didn’t recognise the purchase I should press 1. I just ended the call straight away. I looked up the number 1471 and called back, but no one picked up and it went to voicemail.
