I got a call from someone saying they were Amazon[###] trying to charge me for a phone worth £399 that I never bought. They said if I didn’t place the order, I could press "1" to talk to an operator. When I did, a woman with a strong foreign accent picked up and sounded really unprofessional, which just made me more suspicious. I later checked with the real Amazon[###] customer service, and they told me the call wasn’t from them - they had no record of the number or any such order. Totally a scam, just spam trying to rip people off!
