They rang up saying they were from Amazon and claimed I’d just ordered an iPhone 13 for £799.99. They asked if I wanted to confirm or cancel the order but insisted I’d have to give them my card details used for the “purchase”. I had Amazon open on another device and told them straight they were scammers. They tried to convince me my account might’ve been hacked but nope, no orders at all in my history. Kept pushing me to cancel this fake order but I wasn’t falling for it. After winding them up for a bit, I just hung up. Not daft enough to get caught by these tricks!
