Got a call on my mobile from a robotic voice claiming it was HMRC, warning me about legal action if I didn’t get back to them. I checked it on the official HMRC site to be safe. Ended up blocking and deleting the number straight away.

I got a call from HMRC but it was a recorded message with a sort of American accent. I hung on for about a minute hoping to have a go at them, but all I got was that boring ‘hold’ music playing nonstop. Eventually, I just lost interest and gave up.
