Got a call from my bank earlier, they told me someone was attempting to withdraw cash from my account without my okay. Pretty worrying stuff.

I got a call from someone claiming to be a doctor asking why I hadn’t shown up for an appointment. I had no idea what he was on about and told him he must have dialled the wrong number. He said sorry then hung up after that.

I woke up to a bunch of missed calls from this number, must’ve been four of them, but I completely missed them cause I was still asleep. So I called back and they told me I could win a gift card if I just click on a link they’d send me. I actually was caught out by this kinda thing before and ended up getting scammed, so there’s no way I’m falling for it a second time.

They keep bombarding both mine and my wife’s phones with these blank texts, no idea how they got hold of our numbers. Maybe it’s linked to some survey I filled out online, could be from there. Really annoying!
