They called saying they were from Claims UK, but I told them I don’t want any sales calls. The bloke got a bit narky, insisting he wasn’t trying to sell me anything. I argued that he obviously was, given he claimed to be from a claims firm. I told him I wasn’t going to chat anymore and ended the call. I’ve blocked that number since.

got a call from this mobile, looked like a bother so didnt answer, ive just blocked the number now anyway

I got a call from a man claiming to be with the UK finance office, he rattled off some personal info then said I had a PPI payout waiting. He told me he'd sort it out and ring me back in half an hour. When I questioned why, since I’d already been through all this before and never got this kind of call, he got a bit agitated and snapped “do you want your cheque or not!” I asked which company he was actually with, and suddenly he said Pro Life instead! My number’s on the TPS list, so I shouldn’t even be getting calls like this in the first place.

this guy called me claiming he was from the uk finance department and said i could get around £1780 back in a ppi claim. since i’ve already dealt with ppi stuff before, i told him he was talking rubbish and he just ended the call straight away.

I got a cold call from someone who refused to tell me their identity. They seemed really irritated when I didn’t want to share if I was having a nice day or not!

Watch out for PPI claim scams. This woman had my full info, like my name and house number, but then she asked me for my date of birth. I asked why she needed that if she already had everything, and then she just hung up on me. When I tried calling back, the number didn’t go through at all.

I got a call from a woman claiming there were extra benefits related to my current life insurance. When I asked her how she had my information, she just cut the call. Bit suspicious if you ask me.
