Cheers for the heads up on how to report these scams! I actually saved the police site in my contacts now - makes it quicker to report the loads of dodgy calls and messages I get. Gotta take a stand against these fraudsters somehow. I reckon my phone’s blocking feature is maxed out or faulty cause it’s not stopping them like it did before. Just brushing off these scam calls isn’t great, kinda makes them think they can get away with it, no wonder they keep coming.

Beware of this number, it’s definitely a scam. They told me someone using a different phone was trying to reach my bank, Halifax. Thing is, I’ve never had an account with Halifax at all.

I got a call from someone pretending to be from Halifax Bank saying I'd added a new payee. They wanted me to click on a link, but when I looked up the link on my computer, it was marked as really unsafe! Definitely a scam.

Got a message claiming to be from Halifax saying a new payee was added from an unknown device. It came through at about 9.50 pm and had a dodgy link with something like [#Jonline-checkpz]. Seems fishy to me, especially since I didn’t set up any new payments. Quite a suspicious text.
