I picked up the phone and as soon as I did, the line just went quiet. Lately I've had loads of scam calls from numbers that look alike, often with a recorded message warning that my National Insurance number has been used fraudulently. I keep blocking these numbers but they keep popping up with slightly different ones. It’s really annoying because I can’t tell if it’s a legit call or a con until I actually answer it.
