It's a device I've definitely never encountered before, not in the slightest! Promptly, I rang them up to verify, and they confirmed that this is not one of their official numbers. They suggested it’s probably a dodgy scam. Quite concerning, really!

Got a text from what said it was Halifax, saying a new device had been used to access my mobile banking. It told me to go to this link [#]payee-sign-in[###] if it wasn’t me. Definitely looks dodgy to me, so don’t click on anything. The number it came from was 447988500347.
