Got a call again from some bloke claiming to be from “BT Tech Support” about unauthorised use on my internet. This makes twice this week, but this time the mobile number was different. First call I was pretty sharp with the woman. Today, I was all polite, thanked her and mentioned they’d already told me about it - which I’d passed on to my grandson, who’s a Police Officer (true) but also supposedly working at the Serious Fraud Office in London (totally made up). I enjoy messing about with these jokers, though sometimes I’m caught off guard and don’t have a clever reply ready.
