Got a call from someone claiming to be Amazon, sounded like a weird American robot. They said I'd just bought stuff worth £74,000 which is ridiculous since I never order from Amazon. Funny thing is, the same number rang me last week saying I'd made a £4999.99 payment at John Lewis on my credit card, but I don’t even have a credit card! I checked online and apparently these scammers try to trick you into handing over your bank info so they can steal your identity. Proper dodgy.
