They've been ringing me multiple times each day this week. I've got a scam block on my phone so I just ignore it. Tried calling back once and it said the number wasn't valid. Best to stay clear of them.

I picked up after they called a few times, just to check if it was genuine. A really polite bloke was on the line, talking about some debt I supposedly owe. I don’t have any debts apart from a small overdraft, but he kept saying I must owe more and that he could sort it out for me. He claimed to be from something like the "National Debt Helpline," said it was a government thing. I politely ended the call and then looked up the number online, which led me to this site. Someone here mentioned reporting it to Action Fraud, so I went ahead and did that.

Called me claiming I owed money. I told them I don’t owe anything, then they asked if I had a partner, which I said yes, and that I live with them. Next thing, they said our birthdays are near and that we’d be a great match. Then they said they have my number and asked if they could text me theirs, claiming I’d fall for them because they’re so good looking. Proper strange. Best just ignore it, honestly.

Got multiple calls from this number and I usually just ignore them. Today I decided to pick up. The guy couldn’t say my name right, so I told him I was at work and couldn’t chat unless it was urgent. He said it was important and claimed to be from Government XXXX, talking about my debts. I told him I don’t owe anything and he must have got the wrong person, then ended the call. Another lot of clueless scammers. Kept asking about personal and bank stuff, I fed them rubbish details then got blocked. If the number’s not familiar, just don’t pick up - block it straight away. If you do answer and don’t know who it is, just hang up and block them asap.

They told me I owed money and that they got my info from Citizens Advice. I told them I’ve never been to Citizens Advice and don’t have any debts. They said they were from some charity connected to the government to help sort debts. The scammers seemed to have an Indian accent.

They called me for the first time in a long while and I didn’t pick up (I only ever answer calls from people saved in my contacts). Right after I ended the call, they rang again, let it ring once, then hung up. From what I’ve seen online, this is a scam or fraud number. Feels good knowing I wasted a bit of their time, hopefully stopping them from targeting someone else.

Got a call saying I was due some money and they needed info to confirm my identity!!! When I asked what info, they just wanted my name. I gave a fake one. Then asked for my birthday, gave another fake date. Then asked for my mum's maiden name!!! Pretty clear scam trying to grab bank security details, totally dodgy. Blocked the number already. These tricksters really should be put to an end! Imagine if they or their loved ones got ripped off like this??? Hope karma catches up with them soon!!!

Just got a call on my mobile a minute ago. The person called me by my mum's name - I used to answer her phone - and went on to say that I was due a payment from the government, all I (she) had to do was answer some questions. I told them that’s not going to happen since she passed away three years ago, then I ended the call and blocked the number. Even scammers can’t keep their info straight these days!

Had a couple of calls from this number on my phone but I usually just don’t pick up if I don’t know who it is. After the second call, a voicemail came through so I had a listen. After a short wait, a voice with a foreign accent came on, and you could tell it was from a call centre. Definitely feels like some kind of scam. I’ve deleted the message now. Got a call earlier claiming they could sort out my debts with some government scheme. I insisted on speaking to a manager as I was FURIOUS someone told them I supposedly owe money when I don’t.
