On the 8th of March, I received a call from this number where an automated voice claimed to be from the Barclays Fraud Team. It said there were some transactions on my bank account and asked if I wanted to cancel them. I pressed 1, as I hadn’t made those transactions. Then a man came on the line, asking for the first two digits of my sort code, and said the transactions would be cancelled. Later, I contacted Barclays Fraud Team myself and they told me there was nothing suspicious on my account. So, it seems this call was a con.
