This feels like a massive scam, mostly coming from India and London. You can tell right away from the strong Indian accent. Like seriously, why would HMRC hire people who barely speak English? I asked the guy a basic question, who’s the UK Prime Minister, and he had no clue. I told him, “Well it sure ain’t that fool Modi,” which seemed to really annoy him. I guess he thinks Modi’s some kind of god or something. So I just hung up and told him to “GET LOST.”

Said it was NI insurance - but they’re operating illegally in West Wales. The call centre was really loud and the person had a strong Indian accent. Definitely looks like a scam to me.

Got a call earlier from a woman named Jennifer, she sounded really convincing. She even had the HMRC enquiry number and rang me from that, made me feel like it was legit. She told me I needed to pay off my overdraft right away or HMRC would be at my door in 40 minutes and that I’d get arrested if I didn’t. I was really shook up, luckily my uncle’s a cop and he told me to hang up straight away. Proper scary stuff, everyone watch out!
