I picked up this number yesterday and they started going on about my debts, I was like 'why would I chat about my money troubles with some random bloke?' Told him to remove me from their calls but he said 'We will keep ringing' like trying to scare me or something. They've already rung me four times today! So, I put my number on the TPS and lodged a proper complaint against this awful lot.

This number kept ringing me non stop for days, so I finally picked up today. A bloke introduced himself, and I nicely said I'm not interested in whatever they're selling and to please take me off their call list. But he wouldn't do it. I asked why not, and he asked if I knew why he was calling. Again, still polite, I said I really don't want the offer and to remove me. He still refused and when I asked why, he just said "IF YOU CAN'T ANSWER ME, I CAN'T ANSWER YOU." Told him I'd report the number for harassment if they keep calling.

I’ve emailed Virgin to complain since even if they’re not the ones ringing, they’re the network provider and it feels like harassment. I just got a call from someone saying it was about a government plan to clear my debts. I told them that surely if the government was doing that,it would be widely known and also why would they call from a mobile number through a call centre anyways? The guy, who said his name was 'Kevin', seemed surprised I hadn't heard about it. I then told him to remove me from their contact list and not to ring me anymore, and he replied that he’d take me off and even report the number to the police.

They rang me up earlier and asked for me by name, but I told them they must have the wrong person and ended the call straight away. I've blocked this number ages ago, yet they somehow manage to keep ringing.

When I picked up, the caller asked for William. I told them there wasn’t anyone called William here. They snapped back with, “Who are you then?” I said they’d dialled me and I wasn’t going to give my name. Then they got really annoyed and demanded my name again, so I just ended the call. This is the second time I’ve had this sort of call, so if they ring again, I’ll see if I can find out who they’re with.

Got a call from someone saying they were from a ‘credit council bureau’ - sounded like they were definitely calling from abroad, strong accent and all. They were pushing me to join some scheme to write off debt. It showed up as a mobile number, so I picked up. Even after I said I wasn’t interested and don’t owe anything, they kept nagging. They called me 6 times in one day! I’ve finally blocked the number now.
