Got a call claiming £900 had been taken from my Visa card, never mentioned which bank it was linked to, and told me to press 1 to stop the payment if I hadn’t authorised it. Just yesterday, I had a similar call about £600 from a number quite like this one (starts 079862). Looks like a scam for sure, but I didn’t press anything, so not entirely sure what they were after - maybe to connect me to a premium rate line or someone trying to fish out my bank details. Either way, be careful!
