Got a call on my mobile from this number. When I answered, there was a recorded message in a female voice speaking what sounded like Chinese. Weirdly, I wasn’t able to end the call normally, so I just turned my phone off. That sent the call to voicemail, and the voicemail had some English bits where it mentioned the "Chinese Embassy". I’ve read that in places like Canada there’s a lot of scam calls pretending to be from the "Chinese Embassy", so maybe it’s reached the UK too.
