This number has rung me twice already. When I picked up, an automated voice said it was HMRC and that I'm under investigation with legal steps about to follow. After that, they put me through to someone who repeated the same story live. I hung up and chose to ring HMRC directly to check things out. The person I spoke to there confirmed there wasn’t any issue with my details and that this call was probably a scam, so I was told to just ignore it.
