Earlier today, our sister-in-law received a phone call concerning a loan linked to our nephew, who tragically lost his life in Afghanistan last December. As you can imagine, this has brought immense pain to her mother. It’s appalling that someone would stoop so low as to exploit such a tragic situation for their own gain. We really hope that action can be taken against this caller to put an end to their exploitative behaviour!

Hello all, we recently received a call from this number. When we picked up, a chap named Stefan introduced himself and immediately asked for us by name. Once we confirmed our identity, he mentioned he was calling from a company called Knightsbridge. He indicated that they were aware of our loan application we had submitted elsewhere and, since we had unfortunately been denied, he suggested they could potentially assist us with it. It certainly appears to be some kind of loans operation.

Received a couple of calls today; I answered the second one around 8 PM. The callers were asking for a Mr Birkett. When I said they had the wrong number, they pressed again, insisting it was us they wanted to speak to, and then abruptly hung up on me. I can’t help but wonder if it’s a bank or perhaps a debt collection agency? Not that I owe anything that isn’t already in the works of being sorted out!

Received a call inquiring about a certain Mr. X without so much as a proper introduction. Once we established that we indeed are Mr. X, and started probing into the purpose of their call, the line went dead. Tried ringing them back, but was told that the call couldn't be connected. It's clear that this number is likely associated with some data-gathering or telemarketing operation. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!
