Got a call from someone pretending to be from the Bank of Scotland. They started off alright but then suddenly started insulting me. After that, they claimed there was some suspicious activity on my card in London, then just hung up. Proper rude and dodgy!

I got a call like that too, this bloke said he was from my bank and claimed someone had used my card over in Canary Wharf. Apparently, they'd blocked my card and would be sending me a replacement. Then he started asking for more details, but I wasn't about to give anything away.

Got a call claiming to be from my bank, saying there was a suspicious transaction in Canary Wharf. Seems to be the same scam going around.

Got a call from this number claiming to be my bank (they actually got the correct bank name), saying there was suspicious activity on my card in Canary Wharf, London. They mentioned about £900 going to Hastings Direct insurance, which seemed odd as I’m based in Surrey. The caller asked if I use online banking, I told them no and said I’d contact my bank myself, then they just dropped the call!
