Not sure who was ringing but it’s really starting to annoy me, got a call from them at 10.15 pm tonight.

Got a call from a guy who maybe had an Indian accent, sounded like he was sitting in some call centre with other people chatting in the background. He claimed he was ringing from Carphone Warehouse, quickly launching into a sales pitch about an iPhone 11 deal for £25 a month. It felt dodgy to me - why the hell would a company like that call from a mobile number anyway?

Got a robo call saying I'd been caught up in some HMRC fraud and to press 1 to sort it out, else there'd be a warrant for my arrest straight away. I just ended the call right away, seemed dodgy as anything - HMRC would surely contact you properly if there was a problem! It's ridiculous these calls are still going around!

Got a call from this number two times earlier today, but no one said anything. Just dead silence.

Honestly, it’s surprising that a major firm like British Gas outsources their sales calls to people in India using mobiles. Feels a bit dodgy, doesn’t it? What freaked me out was that the bloke actually knew my name and where I live. After dragging the conversation out, I asked him to give me my account number, and as soon as I did, he cut me off. I’ve blocked the number since.

I answered the call but it just disconnected straight away.

I have no clue who was calling, but there were loads of calls, and the voice sounded super distorted like a terrible recording. I ended the first few calls right away, but they kept ringing back straight after.

Got a call claiming to be from British Gas. They asked me who my energy provider was, and when I replied "aren't you supposed to know?", they just cut me off straight away.
