He said he was from around here and needed to inspect the pipes, but he had no clue where I lived which made me pretty suspicious.

Halifax just tried to process a payment from a device I’ve never used before. If you didn’t authorise this, you’re meant to go to their site, something like halifax safe-mypayee[##3], to stop it. Bit worrying!

Got a message from HALIFAX about a payment try from a device I don’t recognise. They said if it wasn’t me, I should cancel it by going to halifax.safe-mypayee[###]. Bit worried cos I didn’t make any payment like that. Might be a scam? Best to be careful!
