Got a ring from this number today and picked up by mistake, thinking it was the electrician I'd been expecting to call me back. As soon as I answered, a recorded voice claimed I’d done something illegal and said HMRC was going to send me some legal papers and a summons. It then told me to press 1 to talk to their “representative.” I just ended the call straight away and flagged the number with my phone provider as a spam nuisance.
