So today I got this automated call on my phone warning me about some dodgy activity in North Wales that supposedly affected my National Insurance number. The message said I had to press 1 to stop anything bad from happening to me. I didn’t respond and after a little while, the call just dropped. Sounds like a classic scam designed to freak you out and make you act without thinking.
