Got a call about a weird debit on my bank account. They told me to press 1 to verify or 2 to talk to someone. I could tell right away it wasn’t my real bank, so I hit 1 just for laughs. To my surprise, I actually got connected to someone! After a bit of chat about Fraud Dept and how they can help, I told them they already had what they needed since they’d called me in the first place. Next thing I know, they just hung up on me! Brilliant way to waste scammers’ time if you ask me :-)))
