I got a call from a lady who had a kind of Asian accent, sounded like she was in a call centre. She claimed to be ringing from Virgin Media, saying she wanted to check if I was getting the full broadband speed I was paying for. She asked what speed I was currently getting and mentioned it could be higher. Then she told me to visit a website called www.anydesk.com, which lets someone else control your computer remotely if you download their software. Something about it didn’t feel right, so I figured it was a scam and just hung up.

Got a voice message from a posh sounding English bloke saying "Dear customer, this is the Visa fraud team..." or something like that. He told me there was an £800 gamble made in the States and because it looked dodgy, they've frozen the payment. Then he said to press 1 to cancel it. Quite clearly a scam if you ask me, plus when do random banks ring your mobile without any ID? Ignored and blocked straight away.
