I got a message from this number claiming to be HMRC saying my asset declaration was overdue and I had 24 hours to sort it or they'd start enforcement. It told me to send info right away at www[.]hmrc-asset-check[.]com[.]. That website isn’t real and looks like a scam or phishing attempt. HMRC never uses a .com address for official tax stuff. All real HMRC services only use the GOV.UK domain (like www[.]gov[.]uk)[.] Just be careful and know that’s how you can tell the legit sites apart.
