Someone rang me saying they were my bank, warning about a £600 withdrawal supposedly made through Union Bank Transfer. I hung up straight away. Later, I contacted my actual bank to report it, and they told me this scam has been circulating for a while, with amounts mentioned usually between £300 and £600. The caller’s number started with 07895, which belongs to an EE mobile - so it had nothing to do with my real bank.
