Got a call from a bloke with a neutral-sounding voice telling me there’s been an £800 charge on my Visa card from somewhere in America. He said if I didn’t recognise it, press ‘1’ to reach their Fraud Transaction Service right away. He also told me he’s already put a hold on the payment! Apparently, the dodgy transaction was for some sort of gambling.
