I was driving so couldn’t really catch what the caller was saying, told them to ring me later. Today they phoned again but from a different number, said it was from a Glasgow landline this time. They claimed I’d set up some online wallet back in 2018 (which is completely not true) and that it had loads of bitcoin in it. Asked me for my email so they could ‘prove’ it to me. I kept them chatting for about 15 minutes, just to waste their time and didn’t hang up straight away. Could be risky if someone falls for their story, definitely seems dodgy.
