Got a text from 07984769875 pretending to be PayPal, but it was totally dodgy. Don’t bother clicking on any links in the message. Best thing to do is block the number and then just delete the message altogether.

Like many people have mentioned, this was defo a PayPal scam try. Best thing to do is chuck it on the Action Fraud site and then bin the number. Reporting helps loads though cos they can track the number using the cell towers and maybe even find out who bought the sim card.
