About ten minutes ago, I got a call from this number and some automated voice claimed to be from HMRC, saying legal action was being taken against me and to press 1 to talk to someone. I hung up straight away because it felt dodgy. Then, a couple minutes later, I rang the number back and a man picked up. When I mentioned I’d just had a call from that number, he told me “No, you haven’t” and then just cut me off. It’s clearly a scam, so watch out for this one, folks.
