Got a voicemail with a link claiming the council rented me a place and wants my opinion. I’ve never had any dealings with the council about a property, so I’m pretty sure it’s a scam. Didn’t dare click the link.

Got a text about some repair work done recently by the council, and it included a link to leave feedback. Didn’t bother clicking it as I wasn’t sure about the number. Usually, when the council messages me, it says their name clearly. They do use outside contractors, so it might be legit, but I’m not willing to risk it. Calling the council wouldn’t help much either since they probably wouldn’t share details about every contractor they work with.
