I missed the call and wasn’t quick enough to answer, so I checked this site and saw the feedback was good. Deciding to ring back, it just kept ringing till it went to voicemail which said it was EE. Bit puzzled here as I’m expecting a call about my surgery from the hospital.

Just to add to what I said earlier, turns out the call was from the hospital. They told me they’re supposed to check in every 3 months to ask if we want to stay on the waiting list. Seems like a waste of time doing it over the phone though, it’d be much easier if they did it through the NHS app. Anyway, I rang the hospital again to be sure and they said it’s definitely a real message.

Got a call saying it was from the hospital near me, telling me to go online and confirm if I’m still waiting for treatment. They knew my full name, birthday and even the dept I’m waiting for, which made me pause. However, the message had some odd spelling and phrasing that didn’t seem right. Plus, I don’t get why they wouldn’t just send an email instead - feels a bit dodgy to me.
