Got a text saying I owed £1.45 to collect a parcel from Hergest. I saw a nearly identical message last week, supposedly from Royal Mail. Apparently, Royal Mail don’t send messages like these - they always drop a card through your letterbox with details on where to get your parcel. Be careful, it’s just a scam.

At about 1 in the morning, I got a text from 07983 940082 saying I’d supposedly missed a Hermes delivery and asking me to pay a £1.45 fee for redelivery by clicking a link. Ive not ordered anything online since December, so it’s pretty clear this is a scam trying to catch people out.

I got a text supposedly from Hermes saying I need to pay £1.45 for shipping on a parcel, but the website they linked to (myhermes-reshipping.net) looks dodgy and isn't Hermes' real site. Problem is, I’m not even expecting anything from Hermes at all, so it’s definitely a scam trying to get me to hand over money. Keep your eyes peeled if you get messages like this!
