Looks like this is a mobile number. It tries to get you to pay £2 through a website that definitely isn’t Royal Mail’s, so it might be a scam trying to nick your info if you just click the link. Royal Mail wouldn’t ask for money unless it’s for something like heavy furniture delivery, and even then, you’d have sorted the payment with the delivery team beforehand.

Got a text saying I needed to pay for a Royal Mail parcel and it had a suspicious link. Definitely not legit and seemed really risky!

Don’t fall for this rubbish, it’s a total scam. They say your parcel is stuck with Royal Mail and you need to pay a release charge, but it’s just a trick to get cash from you. Just block and forget about it!
