Got a text saying: Halifax spotted a transaction on 30/09/2023 at 18:06:12, charged £139.95 at ARGOS. They said they've stopped and cancelled it, asking me to reply YES or NO if I made the payment. They claim no need to call, just reply to sort it out fast. Don’t fall for it, it’s a scam! I’ve blocked the number straight away 🚫
