some woman rang asking for mrs with my partners last name, i told her nobody here by that name lives at the house, she just said alright then, bye and ended the call.

A person called saying they were from some “green deal” about government grants for heating and electricity, but I’m pretty sure it was a scam.

picked up the call but said nothing, then they hung up straight away. sounds like one of those automated robocalls to me.
