I got a call today from this number, and it turned out to be a scam trying to fraud my bank. In the past couple of weeks, I’ve had another call from a different number, but they both said the same thing - that someone tried to take £800 (for Amazon) and £199 (from some firm in China) out of my account. The guy sounded Indian, which made me really doubtful, especially since he said he was from Halifax’s fraud team. Funny enough, the second call came right as I was watching Scam Interceptors on TV!
